LiuGong is one of the world's largest construction equipment manufacturers. But the brand was largely unknown in North America. In fact, most people in this region couldn't even pronounce their name. So we cleverly co-opted an American name, "Lou," throughout this campaign to make pronunciation of the brand both fun and simple and to highlight the North American commitment this Chinese-headquartered brand was making. It worked! The campaign helped the company increase revenue by more than 300%. And we did it all on a shoestring budget, using existing footage and photography.
